Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Factor42 Media Inc. ("Factor42", "we", "us") collects through factor42media.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Campaign data we handle for partners is governed by our agreements with those partners, not by this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the consultation form, we receive the details you enter: your name, work email, company, the type of organization you're with, the channels you select, your monthly media spend range and any message you write. The form also records the page you submitted it from.
Website chat. If you use the chat assistant, we receive the messages you type, the assistant's replies, the page you started on and whether you followed a link to book a consultation. If you ask us to follow up, the assistant also takes the name, work email, company and (optionally) phone number you give it. Chats are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically; we do not store your IP address with them. We read them to follow up and to improve the assistant's answers. Please don't share passwords, account logins or payment details in the chat.
Information collected automatically. The Site does not use analytics tools, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, and may keep it in server logs for security and reliability.
How we use your information

- To prepare proposals, rate cards and fulfillment plans you ask for
- To keep records of our business communications
- To protect the Site and prevent spam and abuse
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the Site, the chat assistant and form submissions:
- GitHub Pages hosts the Site and processes visit data as described above.
- Web3Forms receives consultation form submissions and delivers them to our email.
- Cloudflare runs the chat service and stores chat records for 90 days.
- Anthropic provides the AI model (Claude) that writes the chat assistant's replies.
- Resend delivers chat follow-up requests and chat summaries to our email.
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive and send.
These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies. Links to other sites, such as our LinkedIn page, are governed by those sites' policies.
How long we keep information
We keep website chats for 90 days. We keep consultation requests and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain reasonable business records, and then delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you've sent us, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under local law. We will respond to verified requests as the law requires and will not treat you differently for making one.
Security
The Site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
